Raj , What are you doing? Watching TV dad! But Why? Coz I have got nothing to do! Why what about the book I gifted you on ur birthday? Oh! Book , That's so boring! This is how today's world is-

Good after noon to one and all.My today's topic is reading habits.

The world today has taken a different turn and most of the present youngsters have developed a distaste for reading books. Although we all understand the importance of reading books none of us are aware that reading has just become a mass practice and not pleasure. There are various advantages of reading.

Reading books contributes towards the enrichment of our knowledge in terms of human experiences and information. Reading a book opens someone else's point of view and experience to us. It can give us an opportunity to see common things in our life from a new point of view that allows us to live more consciously. A book may educate us through accurate content, and even attract us to constructive acts. It also passes the time in a manner that will maintain or improve our reading speed when we may really benefit from it. It helps us develop a high more educated vocabulary, understand more complex material and it helps us become better at manipulating words in speaking and composing.

Besides this it also provides confidence in us to face the outside world .

But inspite of knowing all the fruitful outcomes there are many who are ignorant to make books a part of their life.

So friends wake up, understand the importance and utility of this wonderful habit which can benefit us in soo many ways. Its rightly been said All that mankind has done, though, gained or been: it is lying as in magic preservation in the pages of books.

It is extremely heartening to see a child your age actively taking up these creative writing assignments outside your school work. Keep the habit going because it will make you a better, more confident individual, not afraid to voice her opinion, when you grow up.
