Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul. " To many, music is a way of life, such as it is to the Native Americans, who use their music to pray. Many still use this practice today, who have found their hearts in the melodies. Music is a wonderful way of expressing feelings, emotions and affection.

Greek philosophers and ancient Indians defined music as tones ordered horizontally as melodies and vertically as harmonies.

Music is referred as the Harmony of the spheres. It is also a brilliant source of entertainment. The advantages of music are that it is pleasant to hear and so cools people's mind and make us feel relaxed. It can also express a feeling of million hours within seconds. It has the magical power to heal broken relations and enhance them to become better. Along with advantages music also has many disadvantages. The pleasant nature of music is pleasant as long as it is peaceful. The moment we forget this music becomes noise. It causes irritation and agitation within people and also disturbs the society. Sometimes it also causes heart attacks and nervous break downs in old people. Moreover too loud music is also not good for our sensitive ear drums. It affects them badly and thus can lead to deafness.

Music is a wonderful creation by man. So we should utilize it effectively and not misuse it. Different people around the globe has different opinions and styles about music. If we concentrate we can hear music in everything and if we try we can compose music with anything As its rightly said Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music .

Very good, Aaratrika! The opening lines sound poetic. This could almost be a poem. Are you a musician too?
