The Choice of a Profession

Everyone in this world has their own likings and disliking. It is the same in the case of choosing a profession .As children ,we dream of becoming lots of things. Some of us dream of becoming doctors or engineers and some others about being in the army etc.

I too, have a dream. A dream of becoming a teacher.

A teacher is a true builder of a nation. It is her who moulds the character of tender children and inculcate in them noble qualities of service, sacrifice and patriotism. A teacher also guides the students in the most critical periods. Teaching is also the noblest profession of all, in the sense that a teacher remains honest and studious in his profession. The words of wit and wisdom are far more precious and more valuable than all the riches of the world and everyone can benefit from it. A teacher, is Professional yet sympathetic to the student needs, she is inspiring and patient and she is always there to correct us whenever we take a wrong step.

Right from childhood, my teachers were always there to help me whenever I was in need. They made a big difference in my life and ,I would like to do the same to those younger than me. That is why, I would choose teaching as my profession.
