This is my family

When we think about family , we often tend to think of parents, siblings, relatives. That's the
concept that existed for me too, till I came to a unique place which changed my defination of family. This place is my present residential college, where I not only live and learn but feel like home too. Most people would think of residential colleges to be strict and boring, however my concept of it is entirely different. It is here that I found out that family had a different meaning. Of course like any other person I have a family with my parents and my younger sister, but I also have another family which consists of people I love, people whom I admire and people who motivate me always when I am in distress. My first family supports me always and is with me in what ever I am doing and my second family helps me do things and suggests new things to do. My first family has a dad who is caring, loving and also worrying like any other dad of a teenage girl, a mom who is my best friend, guide, mentor and my first teacher and a cute, naughty, loving younger sister who says she does not care about me but is one of the first person to care in case I am in trouble. Similarly,my second family has friends who are supportive, helping, caring, teachers who are advisors and mentors. I think of myself as one of the most fortunate and lucky girls because instead of one , I am blessed with two families who are responsible for anything and everything that I have achieved in life .
